'Indigo Sine Wave' is the first work created after I drank "the medicine" (the mother plant). The most precious download I caught at the ceremony was "seeing" the long lineage of artists committed to channeling this space. Erykah, the Coltranes, Mos Def, Saul Williams, Dave Chapelle, Sun Ra… Dancers, musicians, visual artists… I took this to mean that there is a qualitative – though, for some, maybe imperceptible – difference between Art and entertainment. And this difference is in the frequency.

From the very beginning, it was clear to us that we were working with the water element. Yemaya, the goddess of the ocean and the mother of all gods is a strong presence throughout.

I'm aware that using language to speak to the realities of spirit is always problematic. So, in closing, I'll just say that the main character eventually gets levelled by the ocean. He becomes it.
